Yes — paying annually saves 20% compared to monthly billing. You can switch between billing intervals from your account settings.
Health Records
Open your pet's profile and tap Health Records → Vaccinations → Add Vaccine. Enter the vaccine name, date administered, and optionally the next due date. You'll receive a reminder notification as the due date approaches. You can also attach a scanned copy of the vaccination certificate as a PDF or photo.
Go to your pet's profile and open the Weight Tracker section. Tap Add Entry, enter the date and weight, and save. Pettavo keeps a full history of weigh-ins and plots them as a chart so you can spot trends over time — helpful for monitoring growth or managing a weight-loss plan.
Yes. Open any existing health record and tap the Edit button. You can update any field — date, notes, attachments — and save the changes. All edits are reflected immediately across your account, including any active guest links.
Pettavo covers the full picture of your pet's health:

Yes. Each pet has a photo upload for their profile picture. You can also attach photos, PDFs, and short videos to health records (up to 25MB per file). Your account includes 500MB of total storage — plenty of room for all your pet's records. You can see how much storage you've used in Account & Settings.
Yes. You can upload short videos (up to 20 seconds) to any Health Record — useful for documenting seizures, limping, breathing issues, or skin conditions for your vet. Supported formats: MP4 and MOV. Videos over 25MB will be automatically compressed to reduce file size.
Every account includes 500MB of storage for uploaded files. Your current usage is visible in Account & Settings.
Yes. You can generate a shareable read-only link for any pet. Send it to your vet, pet sitter, or boarding facility — they'll see the pet's records without needing an account.
You can export your pet's records as a PDF or CSV at any time from the pet detail page. Your data belongs to you — export it whenever you want.
Lost Pet Mode lets you instantly share a public profile for a missing pet — including their photo, description, and your contact info — with anyone, no account required. Activate it from the pet's detail page. Turn it off once your pet is found.
Lost Pet Mode
Lost Pet Mode creates a public, shareable alert page for your missing pet — no account required to view it. Anyone who receives the link (via text, social media, or a printed QR code) can see your pet's info and contact you immediately. It's designed to spread fast when every minute matters.
The lost pet page shows your pet's photo, name, species, breed, coat color, and microchip number (if logged), along with your contact name and a custom message you write when activating the alert. It does not show your full address or any private health records.
Open your pet's profile and scroll to the Lost Pet Mode section. Tap Activate Lost Pet Mode, add a short message (e.g., "Last seen near Oak Park on April 3"), and confirm. You'll get a shareable link instantly — copy it or share directly to social media.
Once your pet is found, return to the same section and tap Deactivate. The alert page will stop loading for anyone who tries to open the link.

Sharing & Exporting Data
You can create a shareable guest link that gives temporary, read-only access to your pet's health records. It's perfect for pet sitters, boarding facilities, groomers, or a new vet. Links can be set to expire after 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days — all links require an expiration for your privacy.

Yes — you can download your pet's records anytime in PDF or CSV format. PDFs are great for emailing to your vet or keeping a printed copy. CSV files work well for spreadsheets or transferring data to other tools.
Absolutely. You can either send your vet a guest link so they can view records online, or export a PDF to email or bring to your appointment.
Yes. All users on your account (up to 3) can create guest links and export data for any pet on the account.
Your data is kept for 60 days after cancellation in case you reactivate. After 60 days, it's permanently deleted. You'll get email reminders at 45 days and 7 days before deletion — so you have plenty of time to export anything you need.
Account & Billing
Go to Account & Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your data is retained for 60 days before permanent deletion — you'll receive reminder emails with plenty of time to export anything you need.
On the login page, click Forgot password? and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

All plans support up to 3 users per account — the account owner plus 2 family members. Invite them from your account settings so everyone who cares for your pets can log records and view history.
Privacy & Security
Only you and users you've invited to your account can see your records. Shareable links are controlled by you — you can revoke them at any time. Pettavo staff do not access your records.
Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely on encrypted servers. Passwords are hashed — they are never stored in plain text.
Yes. You can request account deletion from Account & Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. All your data — pets, health records, and uploaded files — will be permanently deleted. This action is irreversible, so we recommend exporting your data first.
